CLFN Members can print off a copy from the INAC website or pick up the Post-Secondary Guidelines and Application Booklet at the CLFN Education Department.
Levels of Sponsorship; There are 5 levels of sponsorship depending on the type of program you are registered in. Please note the eligible sponsorship months at each level of programming.
UCEP: University and College Preparation – 1 academic year (8 months) maximum
Level 1 - Certificate or Diploma – 2 academic years (16 months) maximum
Level 2 - Undergraduate Degree – 4 academic years (32 months) maximum
Level 3 - Professional Degree or Master’s Degree – 2 academic years (18 months) maximum
Level 4 - PhD Degree –or equivalent – 4 academic years (32 months) maximum
Note: Should students experience extenuating circumstances that require them to extend the length of their program, beyond these eligible sponsorship months, students are responsible to communicate with the program officer to inquire about an extension. Extensions to programs are not guaranteed, and will be considered using the discretion of the program officer.
Sponsorship application forms must be submitted to INAC by midnight (Mountain Standard Time) of the application deadline dates. Be aware that providing incomplete information on the application form will result in the application being sent back to the student to be completed and resubmitted by the deadline. The deadlines for applications are as follows, although you are encouraged to submit applications earlier than these dates:

The date of submission will be counted from the time when the program officer receives the complete application. Therefore if an incomplete application is submitted it is the responsibility of the student to submit all necessary changes or additions prior to the application due date for it to be considered “on time”.
